Privacy policy for Mool Katha tools

Effective 3 October 2026

Mool Katha tools is a private program used only by the owner of the Mool Katha YouTube channel. It runs on the owner's computer during setup and on private cloud jobs operated by the owner. It is not offered to anyone else.

What Google data it accesses

With the owner's permission, it accesses the Mool Katha channel through two Google scopes: YouTube (youtube.force-ssl) and YouTube Analytics (yt-analytics.readonly). It reads the channel's public details and statistics, the list of its videos, and analytics reports such as views, watch time, audience retention, subscribers gained and lost, and traffic sources.

It changes only the channel's own content, in two ways: it creates the channel's series playlists and adds the channel's own Shorts to them, and it may publish or remove comments that YouTube has held for review on the channel's videos. It never uploads, edits, or deletes videos.

How the data is used

Only to measure how the channel's own videos perform, decide what to make next, prepare private editorial reports, and organize the channel's own videos into playlists.

Storage and sharing

The sign-in token is stored on the owner's computer during setup and in private GitHub Actions and Modal secrets for cloud jobs. Analytics reports can be stored in the owner's private cloud storage and private repository. GitHub and Modal process this data to run the tools. A configured language model provider, including Google Gemini, may process analytics summaries to draft private editorial reports. The data is not sold or used for advertising.

Mool Katha tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

The owner can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and deletes the stored reports when they are no longer needed.
